A manhunt is under way for a gunman who shot and wounded a San Francisco police officer before taking off and abandoning a vehicle near a shopping mall. Officer Gordon Shyy says the 28-year-old officer, who is a six-year veteran of the force, and his partner drove to the Mission District Saturday to check out a vandalism call at about 2:45 p.m. on Florida Street near 25th Street.…
