Redwood City police released photos of dozens of unique necklaces, bracelets, rings and watches seized during a traffic stop on a vehicle in Redwood City on Feb. 6.
Police said they located the unique jewelry in the vehicle and the occupants of the car were unable to prove they owned the jewelry or explain where it came from.
The occupants of the vehicle were identified as residents of Santa Clara, Mountain View and East Palo Alto, according to police.
Among the many stolen items recovered by Redwood City police was a charm bracelet with names and dates engraved on the charms. The names and dates on the bracelet were “Ricky 12/9/61,”“Flora 1/21/64” and “London 11/8/69,” police said.
After alerting the public to the seized items, the owner of the charm bracelet was identified, police said.
