A man who may have been looking for a good time was robbed instead in North Beach early Tuesday morning, police said.
The 31-year-old victim told police he was picked up by two prostitutes at Geary and Taylor streets in the Tenderloin about 2:30 a.m., and they drove together to North Beach.
Once they got to the intersection of Columbus Avenue and Vallejo Street, an unknown number of male suspects dragged the victim out of the car and robbed him, police said.
The victim was "extremely uncooperative" with police, they said.
The victim's cellphone was taken from him in the robbery and he sustained a bloody nose but refused medical attention.
