At about 11:50 p.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 700 block of Ingerson Avenue, police said.

Upon arriving the area, officers heard a gunshot ring out in the vicinity of the Gilman Playground, according to police.

Officers saw that the playground was empty, but that two people were walking away.
