by Kate CongerA boat has been caught with what appears to be a large quantity of marijuana at Pescadero State Beach, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.
Around 8:07 a.m., the Sheriff's Office received several reports of a suspicious white boat and a vehicle at the beach. Deputy Rebecca Rosenblatt says sheriffs responded to the scene and discovered what appeared to be marijuana in both vessels.
Homeland Security, State Parks Police, and the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Task Force are currently on the scene, and it is "early on in the incident," according to Deputy Rosenblatt.
