A limousine struck a cab driver walking in front of the Hilton San Francisco Union
Square hotel on Saturday afternoon, police said today.
The incident occurred shortly before 2 p.m. in the 300 block of O’Farrell Street, police Officer Albie Esparza said.
The taxi driver, who was outside his cab when he was hit, was taken to San Francisco General Hospital and is expected to survive, according to Esparza.
It wasn’t immediately known whether the limo driver was cited, or who was at fault in the crash. No one else was hurt.
