A liquor store clerk was stunned by a Taser and robbed in his store near City College of San Francisco's main campus on Saturday, police said Tuesday.
The suspect, described as a man between 30 and 40 years old, walked into the liquor store in the 1000 block of Ocean Avenue about 10:25 a.m. and asked the 58-year-old clerk for several small bottles of alcohol, police said. After he received bottles, he tased the clerk in the torso.
The suspect then ran behind the counter and raided the cash register, police said.
The greedy crook also snatched a carton of cigarettes before fleeing the scene. No arrest has been made.
The victim was treated at the hospital for his injuries, which were not life-threatening.
