The second victim was identified as 25-year-old Pacifica resident Marc-Anthony Salumbides. Bystanders reportedly flagged down officers on patrol in the area of Sixth and Mission streets about 11:07 p.m. on reports of gunfire, Sgt. Danielle Newman said in a statement.

There were no known suspects or any other further information as of early Wednesday morning.

Anyone with information on the homicide is encouraged to call police at (415) 575-4444 or text at TIP411 with “SFPD” at the beginning of the message.

The incident happened just blocks away from an earlier homicide on Sixth Street.

Late Tuesday, Darius York, 34, and Joseph Young, 33, both of San Francisco, were arrested in Fremont and booked on murder and conspiracy charges in connection with Beltran’s death.
