A man was stabbed and assaulted during a robbery in the Tenderloin early Wednesday morning, police said.
The 54-year-old victim was walking out of a store near Eddy and Hyde streets about 3 a.m. with his money in his hand when one of four other men tried to grab the cash, police said.
The victim dropped the money and the man who tried to grab the cash stabbed the victim in his triceps with a pocket knife, police said.
The victim attempted to flee but was stopped by the three other men, who threw him to the ground and hit and kicked him.
All four of the goons fled with the victim’s money, police said.
The victim was treated at the hospital for his injuries, police said, but they were not life-threatening. No arrests were made.
