by Rob Nagle San Bruno police are investigating an attempted murder after two people were shot in the 900 block of Hensley Avenue on Wednesday.

Officers arrived on the scene about 9:22 p.m. and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds, police said.

Witnesses told police that four people got out of a dark-colored sedan and began arguing with the two victims before shots were fired and the suspects fled.

The victims, aged 31 and 25, were taken to the hospital but their injuries were not life-threatening.

Police do not believe the shooting was random and are seeking the public’s help in finding the suspects. However, there was little suspect description as of Thursday morning except that the shooters were all wearing dark clothing.

The investigation is ongoing and police say it may be gang-related. Anyone with information on the case is encouraged to call (650) 616-7100 or email at sbpdtipline@sanbruno.ca.gov.
