Police are seeking the public’s assistance identifying two people of interest who were seen in the area of a homicide that occurred in the Mission on Sept. 9, Officer Albie Esparza said.

Ronnie Goodman, 20, was stabbed by an unknown suspect on the corner of 24th and Capp streets about 11:49 p.m. that night and he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

The suspect fled the scene, Esparza said.

Earlier reports said that police believed there could be two suspects, both men in their early 20s.

Video released by the Police Department Thursday shows two men who are considered people of interest in the case.

The video shows two young men slowly running down an alley reportedly close to the crime scene.

Anyone with information on the two people in the video is encouraged to call police at (415) 575-4444 or text at TIP411 with “SFPD” at the start of the message.
