A man was arrested on assault and pandering charges after he reportedly attacked a woman with a cellphone charger in the Mission on Tuesday, police said.
The 24-year-old victim and 37-year-old suspect were in the 1700 block of Bryant Street about 1:56 p.m. when the suspect reportedly grabbed the woman and told her she was going to start working for him, police said. The woman attempted to pull herself away and that when he beat her with a cellphone charger wrapped around his hand, police said.
The suspect's identity was not released Wednesday.
The victim reportedly had several teeth knocked out and sustained a laceration to the back of her head, police said. She was treated at a hospital.
