You never count your money when you’re standing in the Tenderloin.
A man was robbed of his cash and gift cards in the Tenderloin on Sunday, police said.
The 29-year-old victim was reportedly counting his money at Golden Gate Avenue and Hyde Street about 8:30 p.m. when a man who appeared to be in his late 40s grabbed it from his hand, police said.
The victim tried to get his money back but the other man pulled out a knife and walked away with the victim’s money and gift cards, police said. No arrest has been made.
