A bank bandit who passed a Redwood City teller a nonthreatening demand note earlier this year was sentenced last week to a year in County Jail and three years of probation, after pleading no contest to felony robbery in June. The note that Marco Antonio Rubio-Baez handed to the teller at First Republic Bank at 776 El Camino Real on April 1 stated that the employee had "five minutes" to give Rubio-Baez cash.…
