A woman suffering from Alzheimer's disease who was reported
missing Sunday was found safe near San Francisco's Ocean Beach, police said
this morning.
Maria Ocampo, 55, had arrived in the U.S. just a few days before she was last seen in San Francisco around 1:50 p.m. Saturday, according to police.
She does not speak English, has Alzheimer's, and disappeared without a cellphone, identification or any money, police said.
She was found near Ocean Beach at the western end of the city and is safe, police said.
