A man was injured in a shooting in Hunters Point early this morning, police said.
The 25-year-old victim was standing with a group of people in the 1000 block of Oakdale Avenue about 12:30 a.m. when they heard gunshots and the victim was struck in the leg.
He was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.
The identity or motive of the shooter or shooters is unknown at this time.
