The first robbery happened near Cathedral Hill at Van Ness Avenue and Geary Boulevard about 11:25 p.m., police said.
The 19-year-old victim was reportedly pushed from behind by two men who appeared to be in their 20s, police said. The victim was knocked to the ground and one of the suspects gestured that he had a gun.
The crooks grabbed the victim’s camera bag and fled. The victim was not injured.
The second robbery occurred about midnight in the Fillmore, police said.
In that robbery, the 26-year-old victim was walking in the area of McAllister and Fillmore streets when a man who appeared to be in his 20s held him up at gunpoint, police said.
The crook took the man’s camera and fled in waiting black four-door car, police said.
The victim was not injured.
No arrests in either incident were made as of Tuesday afternoon.
