by Rob Nagle Redwood City police are seeking the public’s help to identify a man wanted in connection with a bicycle robbery in July.

The 33-year-old male victim was riding his bike through a 7-Eleven parking lot in the 400 block of El Camino Real about 11:30 p.m. July 21 when he was confronted by the suspect, a man who appears to be 25 to 30 years old, police said.

The suspect punched the victim in the face, knocking him off the bicycle, police said. He then took the bicycle and rode off eastbound on Whipple Avenue.

The suspect is described as having a shaved head and stocky build and was last seen wearing a blue shirt, police said.

Police released video surveillance images of the suspect and a video.

Anyone who has information about the suspect is encouraged to call Detective Dave Crina at (650) 780-7607 or the anonymous tip line at (800) 222-8477.

People who provide information may be eligible for a cash reward from Crime Stoppers, police said.
